After months of running a nginx server on a apache configured ISPconfig I now ran into a problem.

I didn't realize that this is a decision with such heavy impact when I installed that instance.

But everything worked fine, no problems but after updating to Debian 11 and ISPconfig 3.3.1p1 I don't get new LE certificates.

The LE log on the machine tells me everything went fine, the stored certs in /var/www/clients/client1/web8/ssl/-le.crt are NEW, but to the outside an old version is...

so there is this CP client user that is supposed to be able to change the PHP version for a website (in this case from php 8.1 to php 8.3).
I configured the client limits like in the screenshot below (the web server in question has been added to the list in the limits tab) View attachment 9544

The user can see the new PHP 8.3 version in the dropdown of the site and can select it and save changes....

Hello!

we've always used this guide to install additional PHP Version on our ISPConfig servers. (https://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig-php-debian/)
As far as I know it is possible to install php8.5 on debian 11 but: Is that compatible with ispconfig 3.3.0p2 as well, and can it be installed and configured the way is described in the guide for up to php 8.4?
I would like to install it on an ispconfig webserver runnning debian 11.

Any help and information is much appreciated.

I've created a new well-documented plugin/extension for ISPConfig 3 to extend nicely the ISPConfig OOTB Jailkit, Shell-user and Git capabilities. I've published it in GitHub under the MIT license. I appreciate help on extending it / testing also. It is still new after all
Even it's still new, it is working already. I've tested it quite extensively, even on a Production server (but not a shared hosting). Just read carefully the COMPATIBILITY DISCLAIMER before proceeding.
