It is in my opinion the ONLY right way for us to go.<br />
<br />
Many people use DataBases (DB) to handle authentication because it is an easy way to do it. It was never designed to do this and will eventually cause problems later on down the road. Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) can be difficult to set up correctly and there are too many different ways to do it.<br />

ISPconfig -&gt; edit dns record -&gt; insert some not correct records like A and CNAME to the same target -&gt; save -&gt; ispconfig updates the zone file and run the check via named-checkzone. If the check fails, the zone file is renamed to .err and kicked out from the bind without any warning. The correct behaviour should be you enter some bad records, ispconfig will check it and tell you there is an error and will not save it to the zone file.<br />

Awstats in ISPConfig is not right, its supposed to work on the fly or done via Cron each day yes.  Its not suppose to generate .html files, and all options are supposed to be on the left providing real information for the enduser.<br />

What we have at the moment seems to be somekind of cowboy job, yes i agree i cannot do better myself, but we need the proper thing.<br />

Just don&#039;t show it, or have templates applying to either client or reseller. I was questioning my sanity when i&#039;d create a reseller and then find the reseller in the client list.<br />
