since May 25, 2018, a new privacy law called GDPR (in Germany DSGVO) came into effect in Europe. HowtoForge has adjusted its privacy policy to comply with that law. You can find the new privacy policy text here: https://www.howtoforge.com/community/help/privacy-policy.

The tutorial search function at howtoforge has been rewritten from scratch, the new function is faster and provides much better results by using a nGram search index.
