Hi everyone.

I setup a new ISPConfig server. I've only about 29 clients on it and none of these clients have quota limits.

Running systemctl list-units --type=service returns:

quotaon.service loaded failed failed

Is this supposed to be running even though noone has been added with any limits yet?

make postfix reject invalid TLS certs on receiving

Sorry may be a silli question but im searching the internet now for nearly two hours without success
I like to configure my postfix so that incoming mails are rejected if the TLS cert is invalid i.e. selfsinged etc.

Easy Drive Backup solution?

Setup a centos 7.9 server for a company years ago with ispconfig which of course does site backups & has raid setup for drive mirroring. But need a graphical (gnome installed) easy to use (for non linux it staff) that can backup to external drive nightly or weekly on live server. Which has or I can create a boot disk with restore capability. Thanks

Hello,

I am running an ISPC multiserver conf.
For several weeks I face a strange behavior.
When clamav start a run I have this munin graphs

On my VPS I have 6 Vcpu... as soon as clamav start I have around 1 available !
this decrease my VPS capability...
I wonder if it is a problem on my side or on my VPS supplier side.

wordpress on docker permission issues

Using the following docker compose file I can make a working wordpress site on AWS.
Unfortunately I can not add, update or delete plugins.
If I change all file permissions in the wordpress directory to 777 everything works.

The the new files created are owned by user:
daemon:x:1:1:daemon:/usr/sbin:/usr/sbin/nologin

Simply changing wordpress files to user:
www-data:x:33:33:www-data:/var/www:/usr/sbin/nologin
does not fix the problem.

Any Ideas on how to make this work?

I want to be able to create websites in . Onion from the classic website creation interface of ispconfig.

is it possible?

otherwise do you have any tracks for me to create a vhost template that can write in/var/lib/tor a folder type hiddenservice
and who restarts tor to generate the address . Onion? Address that should be re-imported into the web management interface
of ispconfig?

HI We are using ISPConfig 3.1.15P3 with multiple websites with one primary ISPConfig server and four child ISPconfig servers , we got very strange issue. suddenly four website web folder got blank, I tried to findout root cause for the same time on ispconfig logs for specific webserver also checked system logs but nothing found,
can you suggest me what can be the reason for it ?

Hi there,

I have an instance of ISPConfig 3 running on a server in a data center.
I have 10 Windows users who need 'cloud' storage, and want to map to a network drive, to save company documents.

What is the best way to handle this. Could one simply map to a location using SFTP, or would it be preferable to install something like Nextcloud into a domain space on the ISPConfig 3 server.

Hi,
I have a really weird problem. When I install Ubuntu or Zorin on my Asus Zenbook duo, everything seems to work fine, but when I close the lid or press the power button to go into suspend mode (I think) the second monitor won't turn off and the laptop gets hot and warm. I have the latest NVidia driver update, the latest Linux update, and the latest update of everything. There's nothing in the BIOS like "Sleep Mode" so I can't change any of those settings. I've given it to local IT support...

I don't know which forum fits best, so I'll choose this one.

I thought that my nextcloud configuration is correct, because all checks passed and that means no security and setup warnings.
But then some background jobs issues came up. Something like "jobs haven't been executed since some time.". Obviously, just to create a cron job as 'webcron' in ISPConfig wasn't enough. So that's the problem.
Now, my solution is to add the following line to a cron.sh (e.g. ../private/cron.sh)...
