I am interested in IlohaMail, which is another nice webmailclient with many features. It seams to be one of the best webmailclients available. Reason for me to give it a try on my ispconfig server. More information about IlohaMail can be found here: http://ilohamail.org/main.php and http://blog.ilohamail.org Today i installed IlohaMail on my server. What i did was: Create a website called webmail.mywebhostingcompany.com. Created a MySQL database for it and loaded the sql file which is provided with IlohaMail. (I did this succesfully within PHPMyAdmin). Uploaded Ilohamail in my web with FTP. I made the Ilohamail's data folder acccessable with: chown -R www-data:www-data data The login screen appears but login is not possible I think i have to configure IlohaMail somehow... Does anyone have experience with setting up IlohaMail on a Perfect ISPConfig server with Postfix? If yes, let me know how.
What does "Login is not possible" mean? Does iloha have any own logfile like roundcubemail has? what does your maillog / mail.log tell while you try to login?
Hi Ben, thanks for your reply. When i login with [email protected] An error appears in the login screen appears which says: -ERR Login failes When i login with only a username without @domain.tld An error appears in the login screen appears which says: Couldn't create user dir My mail.log file shows: Aug 16 21:14:07 server1 postfix/smtpd[18691]: unable to get private key from '/etc/postfix/ssl/smtpd.key' Aug 16 21:14:07 server1 postfix/smtpd[18691]: 18691:error:0B080074:x509 certificate routines:X509_check_private_key:key values mismatch:x509_cmp.c:389: Aug 16 21:14:07 server1 postfix/smtpd[18691]: TLS engine: cannot load RSA cert/key data Aug 16 21:14:07 server1 postfix/smtpd[18691]: connect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] Aug 16 21:14:07 server1 postfix/smtpd[18691]: disconnect from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1] I think i have to make some configuration settings within the config files of Ilohamail, but i do not know how to get it working with my ISPConfig server. So, if anyone made a succesfull setup with Ilohamail with a ISPConfig server let me know.
The Next day @Ben I had to make some changes in the default configuration files, which are included in IlohaMail. I have it up and running! I have also Roundcube installed, but i must say IlohaMail is my favorite already!! More complete than RoundCube including basic PIM-like features, including a calendar/scheduler, a full fledged contacts manager, and a bookmarks manager. GREAT PIECE of PHP-software which deserves more attention! And... incredibly fast!!! RECOMMENDED By the way: RoundCube, uses IlohaMail's IMAP library under it's hood. Thanks for your reaction anyway!
