can anyone shed some light on a problem that is driving me mad. I have recently bought a laptop and wireless router, replacing my broadband modem. I now can send emails but cannot recieve them :
Which operating system is on your laptop? Which error message do you get when you try to fetch email? Which email client do you use?
Please make sure you configured your email client properly (correct username and password, correct POP3/IMAP server, ...). If this doesn't help, then it looks like a server-side problem to me, and you should contact the Tiscali support.
Thanks falko, I think that your diagnosis of the problem could be right. I checked my pop, and smtp settings they seem to be fine, so i contacted tiscali and they said that the server was being worked on and to try it again today. I have tried today before I came to work, but as yet its still the same. Thank you everyone for the responses and Ill keep you updated.
