I have had a problem with mail received all being redirected to admispconfig@localhost.tidy-hosting.com. There are no errors on sending mail and the sender of mail to a user on ispconfig thinks all is well, but the message never arrives. When I checked info in /var/log/mail/info I got when receiving a message. To understand why emails are sent to admispconfig please have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=725 http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=821 To which email address did you try to send? I don't see it in the log excerpt.
I think the problem was that the maildir box was ticked on the ispconfig web control panel for the accounts. The emails were sent to both geoff(at)gdtrading.co.uk and admin(at)tidy-hosting.com. Do you know where these messages will have gone to, if anywhere and if I can post them to the correct accounts somehow.
I've a similar problem. On some account, the mail don't go to /var/www/webx/user/MailDir but in /var/mail/webx_user
Great, it's OK now. But the mail who are in /var/mail/ xxx stay in it or ISPConfig move it to /var/www/xxx/MailDir ?
Have a look at these scripts to convert the emails: http://www.gerg.ca/hacks/mb2md/ or http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/mb2md/
You have to move the mails manually. Tools like mb2md might help you: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1432 http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=835
