[onstat -i] error (informix IDS9.4 on Ubuntu Server 8.04)

install IDS9.4 successed, and [oninit -ivy] ok,then [onstat -i] error,tip belog:
symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time referencthe
i have 2 methods,but both all failed.

1.
so i set the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 environmental variable and export it by informix user,
Result, system can't use [ls/cd/vi...] command,why?

2.
To find the file: libpthread.a, result is nothing.

my god,how can i solve it, please help me by a sharp person,

How exactly did you install IDS9.4?
Any errors in your logs?
