Hi everyone [off] this is my 1st post here ^_^ [/off] Im trying to build up and configure a complete webservice provider system based on Debian Sarge. I did everything exactly in the same way as it is written on this site in a howto. (Perfect Setup+Sarge in google.com) Every software is installed now, and id like to install ISPC as well. I downloaded and tryed to get to work it with no success. The install process stops every time at the same part. At the installation section. I read that the possible reasons can be software dependencies and misconfigurations. How can i be sure that ive installed everything that is needed bí the ISPC? Please help me to build up my system. It is important for me, because i had several tries before. This is approximately the 20th.

What did you enter as Web-Root? "v^H/var/www" is not a valid directory. I guess you mean "/var/www". Before you rerun the installer, please don forget to delete /home/admispconfig, /root/ispconfig and install_ispconfig and unpack the instaler tar.gz file again.

How long shall I wait after the installation? I was waiting about 2 or 3 minutes or even more. Isnt it enough for the config? Im running all the staff on a 700MHz Celeron.
Shall i give up my plans cause noone can help me or just be a little bit more patient? I have to finish all the works till the end of the month with an active domain registration. If there's no poosible sollution for my problem I'll do all the administrations via MySQL. (postfix-mysqlauth and proftpd-mysqlauth). thanx
700 MHz is not much, you might have to wait longer. There are no errors in the log. Dont forget to remove /root/ispconfig and /home/admispconfig before you rerun the installer. ISPConfig is installed on several thousand of servers so be sure the installer works if you followed one of the installation tutorials and / or the installation instructions.
This is a free support forum for an open source product. It may take some time to get an response to a post even if falko and i try to respond within a few hours. If you need instant support or remote logins you should consider to buying remote installation support for ISPConfig.
Till... you're right, maybe ill do this but till i'll use this forum. I would like to say thanx for all your help. I think I have found the problem. I cannot find any dir like /home/admispconfig . Is is possible that tha problem can be solved by creating the dir manually? In the future im planning to help to others with similar problem to be a useful member of the community or i may improve the product. Thank you one more...
I ment... now im compiling the things but on 700MHz its very very slow... On a normal computer, how long does it take?
