port 81 is not operational!

i have installed ISPCONFIG in a VPS (as root) but i have not get information:

Please enter a name for the ISPConfig database: E.g. ispconfigdb
Please enter the IP address of the ISPConfig web: E.g. 192.168.0.1

Please enter the domain: E.g. xyz.de
Please select the protocol (http or https (SSL encryption)) to use to access the ISPConfig system: If you want to use your control panel with SSL, select 1. You can then access it under https://www.xyz.de:81. If you want to access it under http://www.xyz.de:81, choose 2.

now ispconfig folder contain: dist.inc.php httpd isp openssl php
and /var/www/html (web root folder) is empty.

how can i do to turn up ISPConfig (port 81 is not operational)!

 

port 81 must be open

First you have to turn on port 81 in your firewall.

 

change ISPConfig port!

please, can i change ISPConfig port from 81 to 8100, because the port 81 is closed by default on gateway firewall.
