Mailusers can change their password by using the mailuser login at: http://www.example.com:81/mailuser Wen they want to change their password, the current procedure is: Enter a password in the field en press save. This means, in case a mailuser makes a typo, (s)he can't login anymore after logging out! It would be more elegant to enter the password twice in two seperate fields. If the password in both fields don't match, they have to define the password one more time. Can this be implementated in a future ISPConfig2 release? Would be nice!
second field missing in 2.2.25 I've updated to 2.2.25, but I cannot see the second field, why? Regards
I cleared the cache, but no second password field to see. Just to clarify. I am logged in as Admin, open a web, go to the mail & users, click on a user and there we should have the second password field, right?
@mytux I am using ISPConfig 2.2.25 as well. I have to say that the two password fields do apear as normal. I have tested this in the English and Dutch language. Which language are you using within the Mailuser application?
I am using German. I also changed to English, but no success. I don't know what's wrong. I checked Software Version again. It says 2.2.25. I must say, that I had trouble with the upgrade, because I have utf8 as default for mysql DBs. I had to switch back to latin1, but did the update again, so the db update was done. Any other ideas?
You can replace the files from /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/mailuser with the ones from the 2.2.25 tar.gz. Seems like they didn't get replaced for some reason when you ran the update.
No, i did a diff with the installed ones and the files from the tar file. There are all the same. I thought the form is build from the doctypes table out of the database. I try to export this one and compare it with the one from the tar file. Any other ideas? Regards, Marco
The forms from the mailuser login do not come from the doctypes table, they are plain sourcecode files.
All fine now! Hi There was a big misunderstanding. I was always looking in the admin GUI, where I setup the domains and stuff. In this GUI we do not have a second password field for setting the users password. I did not know till now, that there is a mailuser login page. There I can see the second password field. All clear now Thanks for the support anyway. Regards, mytux
