Hi! First time posting! Long time reading ;)

I am going to intall a VPS system as in topic subject:

    Debian + Lighttpd + MySQL + PHP + ISPConfig

Could you point me in the right tuturials? I find many. Some of them include apache (I hate apache!)

What about Bind, mailman, sendmail, eaccelerator and so on? Will those be installed?

Please point me in the right direction, and make sure not to include apache on it. :D

Here are the tuturials as I think they should be installed in following order:

1 - Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian Etch

2 - Integrating eAccelerator Into PHP5 And Lighttpd (Debian Etch)

There is another one, but includes Apache (I really really hate it!)

The Perfect Setup - Debian Etch (Debian 4.0)

Should I use the above, and ignore apache installation?

Will ISPConfig work with Lighttpd instead of Apache?

    Best Regards in Advance!

    as far as i know
that ISPconfig is only set to work with apache only

so ... unless one of the ISPconfig dev comes and post ... i think your going to make your life hard as ... trying to do it

    sorry

unless you have an apache backend server and lighthttp as an front end ( but than you have two www services running overkill )
