Be aware that this version will not work for ISPConfig users if you don't change some bits in the code before compiling! Was it necessary to quote all that?

Ok, I was not aware of this, but the statement was true when I created the installer first :)

What is your Linux distribution, and what "Alias" configuration do you have in Apache?

    1) It is the username and password of the admin user of the website.
    2) I dont think this is critical. Please test if the statistics work.

    1. what do you mean it's the user/pass of "the website" what website is this?

    2. after looking at line 206 the script wants to chmod index.php and index.html both to 644 but the script only makes a index.html file and not a index.php file so removing line 206 fixes the error :)

You entered the password yourself as you created the administrator user of the site.

I'am talking about a user (on the email & user tab of a website) and nit a domain. If you did not create a user for your site, then do it now. the password wirll work after about 24 hours when the statistics refresh the next time.

If you dont know how to create a user, have a look at the manual:

    http://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig-2.x-first-steps

ahh didn't know that as i just manage my sites via ssh.. also is there a way to set a username that isnt something like we12_whatever as i run a lot of sites and it'll be hard to remember the webxx bit for every user?

Should be OK now, I migrated to a new server, and apparently the upload went wrong.

The awstats installer is for ISPConfig 2.x. ISPConfig 3 is a completely different software.

    hummm as i suspected.

Would be nice to have that function, seems like I have to spend some
time to see if I can install it.

    atp-get install awstats

    would atleast install awstats.
    :)
