Is it possible to add a site in ispconfig without a top level domain, i used to do it in webmin and the address would be like http://198.2.6.100/~Meads is this possible in ispconfig?
Hope you don't mind that I renamed the topic as it was misleading it my eyes (especially that you were talking about an DNS-Name / FQDN and not about a TLD ) Anyway what you are looking for are those apache userdir. Generally ISPConfig is supporting them as every user created for a web, has it's own dir, where you may upload files via ftp and access them via http in a similar way you described. You can find more details on that in ISPConfig's Help PDF (-> Admin PDF, page 64). But I am not sure, if you can use them (add a web and user's within this web) without entering a DNS-Name. Maybe anybody else has a hint here.
Is it possible to set up hosting accounts on a sub domain using one of my domains i have. I am offering hosting to my forum members of my site and not all of them will have their own domain name you see. Thank you
