I have everything configured and added a site but in the service status it says that the webserver is offline how can I fix it. please help.
No one can even think of helping me. I have no sites up right now because I decided to use ispconfig on a new server and its not working. Can someone please help me with this.
nevermind I fixed it. I found the following in another thread and it seems to solve the issue... ... comment out the line Include /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ in /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: [...] # Include the virtual host configurations: #Include /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ [...]
The problem probably was that Apache wasn't listening on 127.0.0.1. ISPConfig is polling Apache on that IP address.
