Hi, sorry for bothering you, but I'm trying to learn how to use ISPConfig. I installed phpmyAdmin and tried to explore it. During my tests I changed by phpmyAdmin all the root's password (during the installation of ISPConfig I left them blank). Now I can't login anymore! I get the following message: Please help me Nino
Thank you, Till! So, it's not possible to change root's password! In phpmyAdmin I see only db_ispconfig is that right? OT: How can the Admin read his mails by UEBIMAIL? Thanks again.
It is possible to change the MySQL password. After you have changed it, you have to fill in the new password in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php because otherwise ISPConfig can't connect to MySQL.
I have not said that. Please read my post, I told you were to change the password and not that it can not be changed!
Sorry, Till: my mistake! I've read your message, instead. In fact thanks to you I can again connect to mySql! Unfortunately, in my reply I didn't finish my sentence I meant to write "So, it's not possible to change root's password in myphpAdim!" Thanks, Nino
