    Hi All,

I made a installation of ISPConfig on a Ubuntu 8.04 following the Perfect Setup guide.

But my DNS is not good. I test my server using the tool provided by the brazilian authorite for domain registrations (http://registro.br/cgi-bin/nicbr/dnscheck) and the answer for my query is "DNS unknown".

I register the IP numbers with the NS names ns1.viniciusmartins.eng.br and ns2.viniciusmartins.eng.br for my domain viniciusmartins.eng.br. But I insert another domain on ISPConfig (innovat.com.br) and the Registro.Br don't recognize my ns servers.

    Anyone have some clue?

    Thanks,

    Vinicius

Did you setup glue records for your domain at the registry already? You need glue records if you want to use a subdomain of a domain as its own nameserver. In your case: ns1.viniciusmartins.eng.br and ns2.viniciusmartins.eng.br as nemaserver for viniciusmartins.eng.br
