I'd love to see a how-to on extending the Fedora 10 perfect server to include configuring Postfix / Dovecot with virtual users / domains and ClamAV, SpamAssassin & Amavis. I've completely cone through the perfect server set up but I'm not sure how to add in the other pieces for email. Many thanks in advance Charlie
You can try this one: http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-users-and-domains-postfix-courier-mysql-fedora8 Most likely it will work on Fedora 10 as well (with some small modifications maybe).
Postfix Virtual Users Falko, I've followed the how-to you suggested. As I was following it, I started thinking about MY local domain and users. Would I just set them up with regular accounts on my Fedora box? Or do I put them in as virtual users as well? That part wasn't made clear in the how-to. From what I read, I may have done more work than I needed to do. Thanks for all your help and how-tos. They have been extremely useful. Charlie
How exactly do you mean that? Do you already have system users on the box for which you'd like to use email?
