Yes, this thread is 3 years old .... but I had the same problem and fixed it: vi /etc/authlib/authdaemonrc change row: #authmodulelist="authuserdb authpam authpgsql authldap authmysql authcustom authpipe" insert row: authmodulelist="authpam" That´s it .... happy new year
