Hi there! I just installed Fedora 10 this morning, every time I’m logging in after 2 or 3 min the whole desktop freezing . I have no extra programs just the default... Any tips or help would be great from u guys... Thanks
I am experiencig something similar I upgraded from Fedora 9 to Fedora 10 on an Asus-Athlon 64 X2 based system. While with Fedora 9 it was running smoothly, with Fedora 10 it freezes too. I haven't have the chance to detect for similar circumstances. But the system hangs and after some time the mouse pointer moves. No action can be taken for either keyboard and mouse buttons do not respond. Moreover, last time it did it, I had just installed Skype and tested it. Everything was fine. Then the update icon was shown and I started updating. There it was processing the update when I opened Firefox to send a mail message through Gmail when it freezed. But the modem kept communicating and information kept being loaded to the hard disk. It was taking too much time to finish and I aborted the task with a hard reset. After that, the net communications got spoiled. I have not found yet how to reconfigure it. Any suggestion?
