    Dear ISPconfig team,

"All changes you made manually in the Vhosts_ispconfig.conf will be overridden by the system when you change anything in ISPConfig."

My question is it possible to modify the Vhosts_ispconfig.conf by adding
php_admin_value open_basedir /var/www/web18/web/ and will not overridden by system when I change anything in ISPconfig?

If this is not possible in ISPconfig version 2.x, will it be doable in version 3.x?

As you quoted the answer already above, no, thats not possible to modify that file. But you can put apache directives in the apache directives field of the website settings form.

Thanks - Till. What you mean is the Apache directive which put inside the Web-Manger - ISP site - Baic is not limited to Apache only but effective to php as well. Correct me if I am wrong.
