The only way that Fedora 11 Preview would install on my HDD was to use the installation with basic video driver setting. I have both Gnome 2.26 and KDE 4.2.2 installed. How do I get the Nouveau driver to function so I can have 1620x1080 res. I don't know how. Help me please. Say the real problem is that my LCD monitor goes blank at the Anaconda welcome slide. I have a Geforce 8800 GTX. This didn't happen to me with the Fedora 10 RTM and I could use the normal/Nouveau option . You can tell me the syntax for installation booting options to prevent Fedora 11 Preview from making my screen go blank once the Anaconda welcome slide loads.
This will fix the video driver in Fedora 11 for basic video drivers su rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm rpm -ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm yum -y update rpmfusion* yum install kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i386 xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.x86_64
