   Hello,
   
   i have server installed with CentOs 5.3 x64 each night its shutting down
   my question is how can i determine what the cause of the shut down is there a log that specify the reason?.
   
   Please advice

   man last
   man wtmp
   
   also take a look at /var/log/messages
