I realize that it's usually recommended that both aren't installed, so of course I did it anyway.
My question is, will I mess up ISPConfig if I use the Linux Firewall setup section in Webmin? I'm occasionally getting attacks that don't do any damage, but I would like an easy and quick way to block IP address when needed.
The latest was coming from 124.126.253.135 somewhere in China. They were trying to get in through pop3d.

No, as long as you dont turn on the firewall in ispconfig.

    Heloo,

I have the similar problem as wxman.
I use ISPconfig ver. 2 and use ISPconfig firewall on. I'd like to block some IP's.

What should I do if I have in ISPconfig turn on firewall?
Add ip to iptables deny or /etc/hosts.allow deny or something else?:)

    Please advice?:)

    Bye,
