I have installed ispconfig 3 on ubuntu server 9.04 with no problems. I am trying to set up Name-based virtual hosting. Are there configuration changes that need to be made to accomplish this or is ispconfig set up to do this already. can some one point me in the right direction?

First you must have a registered domain name that point to the ip of your machine. Then create a new site in the tab Sites, then click on Add New site and insert your domain name. This is the guideline.

OK but first i am trying to learn how to use the sysem with in my own network 192.168.1.0 before i buy my domain name. My server is set up with the ip address of 192.168.1.50 with in my network i also have bind running on it. If i create a site (jordancason.com, set up the zone file pointing to 192.168.1.50 and have all my systems to use that dns server on 192.168.1.50 i should be able to serf to http://jordancason.com on my internal network correct?
