I am trying to use the instructions here: http://www.howtoforge.com/drupal_ispconfig There do not appear to be updated instructions for ISPConfig 3, so I am not sure if I am doing everything correctly. Nevertheless, I have the site up, and can log in to the FTP. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to upload or create directories as I get a permission denied. At first, the ftp username was defaulttest I thought maybe the problem was because I did not associate a client. So now the ftp username is clienttest. Still it does not work.
Resolved The issue was that I was ssh'ing into the server using the box's root account, and not the ssh account set up by ISPConfig. Hence, ownership was taken by the box's root account. In order to install drupal, ssh in using the ssh account you set up through ISP Config.
