Hello all! First, sorry for my bad english (I'm working on it ). This month I'm testing MaraDNS as my DNS server, but I'm unable to set it (I never configured a DNS server, only few tests with Bind). My domain is registered with Name.com and I've registered a new NS ns1.mydomain.com (since I've only 1 IP address). Then I've installed MaraDNS and my config file is (well, my VPS is down at the moment, I wil try to remember...): Code: mydomain.com. NS ns1.mydomain.com. ~ mydomain.com. A 123.123.123.123 ~ www.mydomain.com. A 123.123.123.123 ~ I can view my webserver page if I visit mydomain.com but if I visit www.mydomain.com I see my ISP error page (this happen also if I visit ns1.mydomain.com). Can someone tell me how to set up the DNS? Thanks. PS: Since my VPS have only 128 MB of RAM I've choose MaraDNS. I'm running Debian 4.0
Ok, I solved, I can now see subdomains, send emails...only one problem... Hotmail see my mails as spam I've set up a spf (txt) record. Since I've only a basic postfix + dovecot installation can be a configuration problem?
