    Hi,

    I have a ubuntu 8.04 installation.
Suddenly, the Server runs out of memory.
I isolatet the problem to postfix/clamav.
When I start up the Server without postfix and start it manually, top is full of clamscan entries. The postque has just 10 entries.
    What ist the problem here?

    Please help!!!

You can reconfigure your server to use clamdscan instaed of clamscan which needs less resources. You will find several posts about how to configure this in ispconfig 2 here in the forum.

    I found the problem.
I removed the 10 files in the queue and everything went fine.
One of these mails seem to kill the procmail or clamav.

I try to bring them back to /var/spool/postfix/active seperately to find out which mail is the killer. But I always get an error in my mail.log that qmgr has problems with the permission.
How can I bring them back into the queue?
