    Hi all

The Perfect SpamSnake - Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope and Exchange server 2003 or Exchange server 2007 can work together?

    Hey,

Yes, the SpamSnake will sit infront of your exchange and relay all messages, after scanning them. You can use it for both inbound and outbound.

    Hi Roger,

now you ask a multiple answer question.

For one: Postfix needs to rely the mail from / to Exchange which can be configured. As such, postfix only acts as a go between.

Secondly: if postfix can't lookup the users, it will simply act as a relay and forward *.domain to Exchange who than has to decide if he accepts the mail or not

Also consider that depending on the setup, postfix can not be used to allow users to send email except from Exchange.

    And so on,

so what do you want to do exactly, depending on that, the configuration is quite different.

    Kind regards,

    Miguel
