Hello, i was wondering if there was a possibilty to create a symlink that all the users of a group (like sambashare or users) can see without adding the link to each user? This is because I want all registered ftp users to be able to see and modify the public ftp. i created one link for testing and it's ok, but to create 70 symlinks now and more in the future seems like my last choice. i'm using a ubuntu 9.10 distro set up with the perfect ispconfig3 guide, with a few things altered. thanx, mitz
Have you considered making a symlink in the /etc/skel directory for use in creation of new users? Then you could write a real simple bash script to create the symlinks for the existing users
