What sense shall an ad-manager make for a controlpanel? I see a control panel as a "techi" tool and not any ad financiated webapp. Or what would be your goal with such ad manager?
In my opinion a admanager is a tool for a cms system and not for a server controlpanel as the server controlpanel does not interact with the content of the websites.
Hi, Yes should be good feature but it isn't critical i think. You have a temporal solution: http://www.howtoforge.com/forced-ads-on-ispconfig-with-debian-etch
i will try it now and thanks but as all ispconfig lovers i have to ask when ispconfig will have this option
Hi, The distribution is not important for this. You only need read the manual and find options in php and apache configuration files.
I dont think that this is a function that needs to be implemented as part of a hosting control panel. If someone wants to implement that, he shall feel free to do write such a function and we will add it to the ispconfig svn then but I will not write it myself. If you want a d manager software, use e.g. OpenX, its a very good and functional software. Writing such a software again is just reinventing the wheel and a good ad management software has about the complexity of a controlpanel.
OPENX compile a code per site and i wish to find software that use the PHP as a host not a site like ispconfig will have a function to implante a code in the index.html or .php
Thanks this is something I was looking for. but it would be great to have this capability included in ISPconfig, rather then the manual editing, but with the guide, I don't mind doing it with some hand coding.
