    Hi,

I want to run my mail server at home. One thing that I'm not sure is that whether my 10Mbps/2Mbps Down/Up link is enough for a mail server. I'll be sending out on average 200 emails per hour(P.S It's a community website notifications not spam :) ). I would appreciate it if you could tell me if my down/up link speed are enough.

    Thanks,
    Reza

thxs but in IMHO it is better ip it is more reliable.
If you will charge for the service then static ip if for you
if it will be a hobbie then you can try with dynamic ip.
i have a server that have been and still running over 2 years with static ip and i never had to do anything on the server. i did nt have to even touch it.
I just clean the fans once in a while.
