15061 Dec 11 10:37:22 blackbird init: tty4 main process ended, respawning
Each 'ttyx'process appears to come to a grinding halt
This goes on all the time, while the server is running. Every ~10 secods set of new tty processes is spawned.. Rebooting does not eliminate the problem.

    First, is 'tty 'apache2?
If so, what would cause each process to failoever and restart every 10secs?

    Any input welcome.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

    please try:

sudo rm /etc/event.d/tty[23456] (you should backup the folder before you delete something)

    Afterwards reboot the system.

    Best regards,

    Olli

Solved - but what was that?

    Hi,

thanks for that - it sure fixed it.

But was that what I was looking at? and there seem to be 6 rc[1-6] entries in event.d as well. What is that stuff? Any clues?

    Thanks
