I would like to install Xen on CentOS 5.4.

Should I use the following howto "http://howtoforge.com/perfect-server-centos-5.4-x86_64-ispconfig-3" to prepare my host machine?

What items should I keep and remove? (Obviously remove ISPConfig).

My goal for the host machine is to run only what is needed for Xen. I haven't found a great howto on creating a base CentOS host with the prereqs for Xen.

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Dear Falco,

I am planning to setup server just for Xen, and I was following your tutorial "The Perfect Server - CentOS 5.4 x86_64 [ISPConfig 2]".

My question is should I check virtualization or just follow your tutorial above?

    Thx

you mean, during installation of the base system? Well, I don't know what exactly gets installed, so personally, I'd use the tutorial. :)
