Hello all i own a VPS where i have installed squirell mail and courier. I have upgraded the VPS to a new operating system so in the transition phase they gave me another VPS to setup with my stuff. I installed again squirrelmail and courier. Mail is working fine apart from one thing: when i sent email from my new address (*to myself), all mail gets redirected to var/mail/<myuser> as opposed to the INBOX directory for squirrelmal could anyone tell me why? apparently SENT folder and Thrash folder are ok....
Falko, i thought i did. I am using Ubuntu server 9.10... i installed squirrelmail from ubuntu packages... I cannot find out what am i missing as i followed your tutorial. When i did it with ubuntu 7.04 it worked just fine. This time, following same steps, it didnt work.. any help? regards marco here's my postfix main.cf Code: # Debian specific: Specifying a file name will cause the first # line of that file to be used as the name. Hello falko, i think i sorted out the problem by random telnetting into port 25 i discovered that sendmail was running and postfix was shut.. probably i messed up postfix installation, so i removed sendmail and reinstalled postfix and everything seems to work fine regards marco
