Hi I'm currently renting a RPS from OVH.co.uk. ISPconfig 3 + Fedora Partitions are as follow. Code: Linux r25884.ovh.net 2.6.32.2-xxxx-grs-ipv4-32 #1 SMP Tue Dec 29 14:41:18 UTC 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux [20GB ISCSI] boot - 200mb [sda1]/ - 3.8 GB (100% full) [sda2]/home - 16 GB (0% full) I made the fault of not giving / more HDD space since my websites are located in /var/www and now i've ran out of diskspace so my websites are crapping out & I cannot create more websites. I currently have nothing installed on SDA2. Is it possible to edit / modify my /var/www that it moves over to the other partion? OR is it possible to delete my SDA2 and merge it with SDA1? My knowledge of linux is limited, so any help will be welcomed. Thanks
Ok, then take a look at these two guides: http://www.howtoforge.com/linux_resizing_ext3_partitions http://www.howtoforge.com/partitioning_with_gparted
Hi Thanks for your trouble to help me, but last night I just moved over my files to /home/var/www and then created a symbolic link from /var/www to it. Had to recreate all my websites in ISPconfig and it seem to do the job.
partition sure, you can use the MiniTool Partition Wizard software to do your delete and merge partition, because the MiniTool Partition Wizard 5.2 can do it
