We haven't tested it on MySQL 5, but you can and tell us your experiences... :D
ISPConfig is meant for use on servers, and on servers you normally don't use alpha or beta software.

My Debian 3.1 server runs with the latest version of ISPConfig without any problems, thanks guys!

I am going to upgrade to Mysql 5.0 (from 4.0.24, wich was installed by ISPConfig).
Could you give me any hints, how to do this?
Should I simple apt-get the new Mysql package?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Debian Sarge comes with MySQL 4.0.24. If you want to update, you might have to try www.backports.org.

I have tested the backport version of MYSQL5 from http://www.dotdeb.org/ with Debian Sarge, and it does not work correctly.....ispconfig times out when you save users and clients, and saves data wrong.

I've tested ISPConfig with MySQL 5 a few weeks ago, and it worked for me (it was on FC 5, if I remember correctly).
