Just downloaded Ispconfig. follwed the instructions to unpack it.No problems. But after going to the install directory I get ./setup: No such file or directory when I look in the directory there is an Install.php. but nothing for a setup. just wondering what I do now??
You seem to mix up ispconfig 2 and ispconfig 3. ISPConfig 3 is a different software then ispconfig 2 and has different setup instructions. A script named 'setup' is part of ispconfig 2. So you have to download ispconfig 2 if the installation guide you used instructs you to run setup. If you want to install ispconfig 3, you need a different setup. If the server ahs been configured for ispconfig 2, then you might have to format the server and reinstall it by using one of the following guides: http://www.ispconfig.org/ispconfig-3/documentation/
Ok and now Thanks for setting me right on that. Did the install all went well. But when I go to the website the fedora test page is coming up and not ispconfig??
Make sure that you selected the correct IP address in the website settings. If the IP is not listed in the select box, add it under system > server IP.
Also This was created in my httpd.conf file NameVirtualHost *:80 NameVirtualHost *:443 Include /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/Vhosts_ispconfig.conf Include /etc/httpd/conf/sites-enabled/ It errors on port 443 It errors on Include /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/Vhosts_ispconfig.conf - no such directory
check out this site http://manual.ispconfig3.co.uk/ it has a few "starters" tutors as in, what to do when you're done installing ispconfig.
Uninstall Ispconfig Can anyone tell me how to uninstall so I can go back and startover? Maybe that is an easier question to answer.
If you installed ispconfig 2 and 3 on the same machine, i suggest you reinstall it with a fresh server, and search howtoforge.com for "the perfect ispconfig 3" install follow that TO THE LETTER .. after that, go to http://manual.ispconfig3.co.uk/ and do your thing. good luck
Well, you could've done a simple google search and found the first page: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30207 but sure ..
