Hi, I'm using ISPConfig3 for approximately 25 website now, and I've noticed that many websites have (very) large error.log files. I've searched the forums here and I have been looking through all the settings but I can't find a proper solution. Can someone please tell me what can be done to prevent the error.log(s) from growing this big? I read some posts here that suggest to manualy edit the daily ispconfig-cron, but that doens't sound wise because I don't know how updates in the future will affect that manual edit. Thanks very much!
Older releases did not had a log rotation for the error.log files. Please update your ispconfig to the latest stable release.
I'm afraid I already have the latest stable version (3.0.2.2) running. So unfortunately the problem remains the same. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Try to update to the 3.0.3 beta. The logs get rotated nightly, so you will have to wait a day after you updated: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47608
The server is in production so i prefer not to run beta versions there. But if the next version fixes the problem: great! Waiting for a stable 3.0.3 then.. Any ideas when it will be released? Thanks for doing a great job!
