There is a online demo of ISPConfig 3.0.3 interface available now to get a first impression of the new ISPConfig version. Link to the ISPConfig 3 demo http://demo3.ispconfig.org/ The login details for the different administration interface levels are: Administrator Login Username: admin Password: demo Reseller Login Username: reseller Password: demo Client Login Username: client Password: demo The following functions are disabled in the online demo: Changing the password of the default admin, reseller or client user, changing system server settings and the system interface config, using the language editor and the remote API. The database of the online demo is reset once a day.
Good work! I'm still using Version 2, but the new release will be installed on a new VM - looking forward for it! Are there any plans for a migration tool?
Hello, When ispconfig 3.03 will be released ? By ispconfig_update.sh ? I'm waiting for feature users webdav . Is it possible to use webftp for access directly from a server which needs a backup, to a ftp server ? Will the documentation be released ? Thanks !
Wonderful look, except the homepage Maybe I like simple designs without big icons and without repetitive icons on the home page. It would look better if the dashboard should conatain more than the email info, but like the number of clients, resellers, site, space usage (including quota) and bandwidth usage etc. for the admin. Also, domains that gave the largest number of 404 errors or died or dying sites would be nice. Just my 2 cents, howerver I know that it may be a lot of work ;-) Look forward to Falko's tutorial and 3.0.3 release. All the best!!!
I tried the demo as client, but it was in Russian, then i tried set it to english, it said there was no access to this, but changed language anyway. Is this a bug?
No, thats not the case. The 3.0.3 beta version currently has less known bugs then the 3.0.2.2 version as allmost all bugs that were found in 3.0.2.2 has been fixed in the 3.0.3 beta and the code has release quality. We currently just wait if any new bugs were found in the beta before we release it. What you mix up here is that the online demo is not a full install of course, it is just a copy of the interface that has several functions disabled as described on the demo page. Especially functions to change passwords, langueges etc, to prevent that users destroy the demo installation.
You can set the news source in the interface settings to any atom feed you like, e.g the news feed of your company website.
I am playing with ISPConfig 3.03 beta now. And what i see is that i miss some buttons under >Sites > Database. Normally there are 3 buttons behind each db-name, i can only see the right red button (remove db), but not all...
This has been fixed already in SVN, bugtracker item: http://bugtracker.ispconfig.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=1272&tasks=&project=3&due=28&status[0]=

The ISPConfig 3 manual is finally available (in PDF format)! On nearly 300 pages, it covers the concept behind ISPConfig (admin, resellers, clients), explains how to install and update ISPConfig 3, includes a reference for all forms and form fields in ISPConfig together with examples of valid inputs, and provides tutorials for the most common tasks in ISPConfig 3. It also lines out how to make your server more secure and comes with a troubleshooting section at the end. Version 1.0 for ISPConfig 3.0.3 (Date: 09/30/2010) Author: Falko Timme <[email protected]> 299 pages The manual can be downloaded from these two links: http://www.ispconfig.org/ispconfig-3/ispconfig-3-manual/ http://www.howtoforge.com/download-the-ispconfig-3-manual Now the bad news: we can’t offer it for free. But it will be available for as low as 5 EUR per copy – we think this price is more than fair for a manual with nearly 300 pages. Why Do We Charge For The ISPConfig 3 Manual? We hope that this will allow us to employ an additional full-time ISPConfig developer who can disburden the core team. This would accelerate ISPConfig development a lot and also allow us to provide more support for ISPConfig users.
