Hi all, I have just installed ispconfig 3, i come from ispconfig 2 i though that it was just the moment to give the chance to the new release. By the way i have the following problem if I setup all my sites to listen in the proper ip address the webmail and the phpmyadmin is not accesible anymore, by their normal url http://server.example.com/webmail and http://server.example.com/phpmyadmin. in the other hand if i type http://server.example.com it appears one of the webpages that i have hosted (in particular the webpage who its domain is first taking into account the alphabethical order) what am i doing wrong? Cheers,
It looks like that apache is reading the vhost in alphabethical order but i have a 000-default.vhost file in apache sites enabled... so no idea...about that ? any help would be great By the way i would like to ask also one more thing ... the ip addresses server list what is that for? if i have a server with a single interface hosting multiple sites, do you have to add also the ip address to this list ? because it was already configure in the server settings... why should we add this ip address also to server ip addresses? Cheers
Thnks till, I noticed that yesterday and i did it but I forgot to post it . By the way I have created a ssl certificate for my ispconfig admin panel, just installed the webmail and phpmyadmin under the following directories /usr/share/phpmyadmin and /usr/share/roundcube. My next question is if i create a symbolink link to this both resources phpmyadmin and roundcube then it will be available throught ispconfig port and ssl, but if i perform an update of ispconfig could i have some troubles? Cheers,
Please do not run any other software under the ispconfig port, this may cause severe security problems! ISPCOnfig has a separate vhost for this called the apps vhost, it is reachable on port 8081. The root folder of this vhost is /var/www/apps
Ok so the proper way to do it it should be to create the symbolink link in the apps folder and generating another ssl for this folder ... no? Cheers
