    Hi,

ISPconfig will be very good solution for hosting when release some features like: dovecot, bind, mod_chroot, traffic quota, disk/bandwidth stats... supports. For 2010 can be the best secure controlpanel.

BUT ISPconfig needs other very important thing, it's a billing system. I think the best is whcms:

    http://www.whmcs.com/demo.php

    And prices:

But whcms doesn't have ispconfig support. I was searching information and i only found it:

    We have 2 options:

    1. Try to speak with whcms staff. They should win costumers adding ispconfig support.
    2. You can post here other billing systems compatible for ispconfig 3, if you known it.

I am also interested in this topic as we're migrating from Plesk to ISPConfig. Does ISPConfig not have a single billing system? How about an API that a billing system might interact with, e.g. in terms of overuse, suspensions, creation?

The api is in process, we was speaking with whmcs staff and they will support bridge for ISPConfig 3.

API is not released yet. Some API code is available but some features are missing. We are waiting also for it.

    Thanks

When the remote functions for all the billing things are working the same way like the email one, than i can easily add the missing functions which you need.

Are you refering to the ispconfig api?

Can anyone confirm when WHMCS might be compatible with ISPConfig ?

I'm very interested in that, too.

I tried to code a bridge (whmcs - ispconfig) as far as I could do it, because there are only a few options available in the remote API at the moment. It is not that complicated.

But if whmcs can do it it would be the best. I will ask whmcs if they are planning to do it.

In SVN, the API is complete now and will be released with ISPConfig 3.0.2

Version 3.0.2 is released. Does the API work now with WHMCS?
How can I use it/install/configure it?

Thats the wrong question ;) The question must be: Has whmcs added support for ispconfig and the answer is: no. The ISPConfig remoting API works of course in 3.0.2, but as far as I know, whmcs has not added support for it in their software.

Hi, so has WHMCS added support for ISPConfig now in version 4.3?

    Hi Lukemob,

No they have not added support for it, i have been following on this in the whmcs forums and here and I am not sure why they would not add support.

Maybe Till can chime in and see let us know if he has contacted WHMCS recently?

    thanks
    Denny
