When I try to upload a file ( FTP ) to website I receive error quota exceed, but my quota settings for that site is -1 for disk and bandwidth. I checked the error.log and there is open_basedir is commented in my php.ini files I would point out that there is no path My directory structure is /srv/www/clients/client1/ and /var/log/ispconfig/httpd
Looks as if your quota is full or the harddisk partition is full or the max number of files limit in a virtual machine is reached. You can check the quota with the command: repquota -avug and the disk with: df -h and the number of files limit of a virtual machine with: cat /proc/user_beancounters

I guess that either the ABSPATH or WPINC constant is set to a wrong value which points to a directory outside of the website. Additionally, is this a fresh wordpress install or did you move the installation from another server or website?

Ok. Please check these settings for the website: 1) suexec: enabled. 2) php mode: php-fcgi 3) All files in and ist subfolders /srv/www/clients/client1/web1/web belong to user: web1 and group client1. To ensure that, run: chown -R web1:client1 /srv/www/clients/client1/web1/web

The ls -la is from the wrong directory, as the folders there are always owned by the correct users. Please run the command as I suggested above and then wait a few minutes until your system is reconfigured to use suexec as this is required to run wordpress. Without suexec, you will get access errors as php is run then under a wrong user.
