After migrating Postfixadmin in our system with slight changes to current system. It was the basic of http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_postfix_mysql_quota_courier. Trying to connect with telnet I get generic failure when using AUTH LOGIN and the log returns: I've also had errors like 'Permssion denied' and 'No such file or directory', but after removing the line 'saslauthd_path' these errors dissapeard and now gave me 'authentication failure'. I've been searching the whole internet last couple of days, checked group permissions and stuff, but nothing seems to work. Hopefully you can help me out.
Hi Falko, We are running on Debian. I now came as far it is able to send mail, but only local. It is able to authenticate when the destination is local, when the destination email is on an other server, it's unable to authenticate: Internal: GMAIL: External: Not that much to be seen in our logs, except for the mail.warn (mail.log doesn't even show he is trying to send a mail..):
