Hi, I saw this howto Set Up OpenVPN Server With Authentication Against OpenLDAP On Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) and was wondering if its possible to install OpenVPN without OpenLDAP?
My dedicated web server is located in a remote location. I would like to setup so I can connect to it and use it for various tasks.
You would find various documents at http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/ Hope this helps.
Howto Micko, I work for a company that configures VPNs server so I can refer you to a tutorial we wrote that is a bit shorter and goes straight to what you need: http://www.serverubuntu.it/openvpn-bridge-configuration
Thank you! That's what I was looking for. When I find some free time I'll give it a try and post back results here.
User control Hi all i am running PPTP VPN and L2tp vpn on an debian machine, i am thinking about trying OpenVPN also. but i would like if any of these can do as following: is it possible to make some limits, such as bandwidth, max connections for each ip and so. another thing, i would like to log login attemp, both success and failed. to have en overview for, if my server is going to be hacked or so. can something like this be possible.
