Hi, i'm using Centos 5.6 x86_64, i use Dovecot and postfix for my mail server, everything was going fine until last update, now none of my users receives any mail from anywhere and postfix gives me this error: postfix/qmgr[3914]: fatal: unsupported dictionary type: mysql postfix/master[3894]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/qmgr pid 3914 exit status 1 postfix/master[3894]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/qmgr: bad command startup -- throttling else everything seems ok from the log
You must rebuild Postfix with MySQL support, and then make sure to exclude Postfix from updates (see chapter 7 on http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-centos-5.6-x86_64-ispconfig-3-p3 ) because Postfix from CentOS has no MySQL support.
already done, the mail was working fine before i updated like 3 days ago, thank you for the help but i just gonna swap to squeeze ASAP cause i need mail running like real fast, i will keep my centos partition for later to debug i really like centos so far but i don't have enought time to fix what crashed
