I have two usb external hard disks. One is formatted with backup files on it, and the other one is new with nothing on it. Neither one of them is recognized by kubuntu when I plug them in, and if I reboot with either one plugged in it still does not get mounted. I have been searching for days, and trying different things and nothing works. Thanks in advance.
Logs? ....um the logs, yes. That seems like a logical place to look. Where might one find these logs? I am somewhat new to linux, but I won't let that stop me.
