    Hello everybody,

I have installed ISPConfig 3 today and i have failed : the ISP Panel is on mydomain.tld and i want to switch the panel in staff.mydomain.tld without reinstalling all the server. Any solutions ?
My domain "mydomain.tld" shows me a "It works !" message and I can't upload files into the website.

    Thanks by advance,

The ISPConfig panel is on no specific domain as it runs on a port based vhost anot a IP or dnambased vhost. You can reach ispconfig on any domain or subdomain that ponts tio this server on the port that you specified during install.

    Hi till,

Okay, but why when i go to "mydomain.tld", the server shows me a "it works !" page (apache default page) instead of "Welcome to your website!" (ISPConfig default page) ?

    Thanks :)

Thats not related to the domain of the controlpanel.

    1) If you used mydomain.tld as hostname of your server while you installed the server, then you might want to change it in /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts and restart the server.
    2) Check that you added the Ip address of your server under System > server IP in ISPConfig.
    3) Check the website settings of the mydomain.tld website and ensure that the correct IP is selected there and that you have "auto subdomain www" enabled.
