The AWStats seems not working properly.

Last time I use Webalizer and it works, but I like to switch to AWStats. I checked the awstats package was installed properly. Still not figure what is the problem yet

Check that the paths to the awstats scripts under system > server config match the paths on your server.

It seems the path exists and match.

When I look at the web server path, there is a stats directory, and an index.php inside. However the stats page seems looking for index.html, is it the problem? I follow the Perfect guide to install Debian/ISPConfig 3 2 times, still got the same problem, AWStats not work.

No. The index.php page loads the other page.

The statistics are generated nightly and you have to activate them in the settings of the site. So you have to wait at least 24 hours until you can access awstats statistics after you enabled awstats in the site settings and the website needs to have traffic as no stats get generated if there is no web traffic in the site.
