I am new to Linux server, ISPConfig so please forgive some of the questions I might ask. I need to set up a server the provide WEBDAV and mail to a non-profit organization and I used one PC I had to set up the server with the instructions I found on this site (The Perfect Server - OpenSUSE 12.1 x86_64 With Apache2 [ISPConfig 3]). It looks like everything seems to work but here is my first problem. I can send mail to myself in squirrelmail but when I send a mail to gmail I get the below message. The second question I have is, what do I need to do to activate WEBDAV? My domain is registered with GoDaddy but there I did not make any changes yet. ---- Reporting-MTA: dns; server1.xxx.xx X-Postfix-Queue-ID: 8916A83288 X-Postfix-Sender: rfc822; [email protected] Arrival-Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2012 04:14:25 -0400 (EDT) Final-Recipient: rfc822; [email protected] Original-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Action: delayed Status: 4.4.1 Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; connect to alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[173.194.69.26]:25: Connection timed out Will-Retry-Until: Tue, 3 Apr 2012 04:14:25 -0400 (EDT)
Is the server hosted in a datacenter or do you host it in your office or at home on a dsl or cable line?
The server is at home on a cable line? I have other PCs on the same router and I put the IP address of server into the DMZ.
Your IP is probably blacklisted. Please set up relaying: http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver
